Submissions

Do you have a story tip for us? We’re always on the “Lookout” for ideas. Or perhaps you’ve written something, and you’d like to submit it to us.

Send your story tips to the Editor: atkinson.m@forces.gc.ca. Remember, we are a weekly, so tips must be sent well in advance of an event.

If you’re submitting a story or photo(s) here’s what we need from you:

• Send a word document with no formatting or objects/photos embedded.
• Spell out all acronyms.
• Keep it around 500 words or less.
• Make sure to include author’s name and phone number.
• Photos should be high resolution, about 300dpi jpeg, sent as attachments. Please include a comprehensive caption to go with each photo, which answers the 5Ws, and the photographer’s name.
• Editorial deadline for copy is Wednesday at 3 p.m.

Send photos and documents to the Editor: atkinson.m@forces.gc.ca. The editor reserves the right to edit the story. There is no guarantee it will be printed.
