FAQs for Defence Loyalty Program Businesses

Why join this program?

This is a great way to market your products and services to a well-paid niche market – the Defence Team of CFB Esquimalt and beyond.

Within Greater Victoria, there are more than 8,500 Regular Force, 4,000 Primary Reserves (active) and 4,500 DND/NPF civilian employees. This number greatly increases when families and veterans are included, totalling a potential customer base of well over 30,000.

It is also a way for a business to show their support of the Canadian Armed Forces community, who work mostly behind the scenes protecting Canada and Canadian interests globally. In times of need, it is the military who are called upon by the government to help in domestic emergencies; serve as Canada’s ambassador with allied nations overseas; work to sustain peace world-wide, and uphold UN Security Council sanctions. These missions are but a few of the work done by the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces, with their family supporting them behind them scene.

How do I join this program?

Joining is easy. Contact the Lookout advertising representative Joshua Buck -sales@forcesadvertising.com, or the Lookout Manager Melissa Atkinson – Melissa.atkinson@forces.gc.ca. For only $500 you will be added to the program.

In return, you receive $500 in advertising – in Lookout newspaper and/or website – and gain the benefit of additional marketing on this web page, in the quarterly MARPAC Activity Guide, on Lookout Facebook, and in the Lookout newspaper.

It won’t be long before word of mouth spreads through the Defence Community about your awesome offers! Don’t delay, join today. Defence Loyalty Program – deals and discounts for the local military community!
