CHOD Meeting, Goose Bay, Labrador

General Walt Natynczyk, Canadian Chief of Defence Staff, fires a Lee Enfield rifle at the firing range under the watchful eye of MCpl Audry Pardy, a Canadian Ranger with the Cartwright Patrol.The Chiefs of Defence from seven Northern Nations took part in a Ranger familiarization activity during the first ever Northern Chiefs of Defence () meeting, hosted by Canada at CFB Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador.
