HMCS Calgary departs for Operation Projection

HMCS Calgary sailed out of Esquimalt Harbour July 31 and onward to the Asia-Pacific region for Operation Projection, a five month deployment. The ship will conduct naval presence operations in the region. It will also support international naval exercises with partners, and make port visits in five countries. These visits support Canada’s diplomatic efforts in the region.
